Wording: Swimming Pool Rules - Children under the age of 6 must be supervised by an adult 16 years or older at all times. - Patrons should inform the staff of any life threatening medical conditions. - No person with signs of illness or disease or with skin rashes or sores may enter a bathing place except when certified by a physician not to have a disease in a communicable stage. - Appropriate swim attire is required in the pool and on the deck area. No street clothes, jeans, cargos, sweats, socks, etc. are permitted in the pool. Patrons wearing diapers must wear a swim diaper. - All patrons must shower before entering the pool. - Inflatables and flotation devices are prohibited. Only U.S. Coast Guard approved lifejackets allowed. - Toys, noodles, and aquatic exercise equipment may be permitted at the discretion of the lifeguards. - Chairs and strollers must be kept at a minimum of 10 feet away from the pool side. - Food and drinks are permitted in designated area. No glass containers. - No drugs, alcohol, smoking, vaping, electronic cigarettes or chewing tobacco. - No weapons, fighting, profanity or abusive language. - Non-swimmers must remain in shallow water no deeper than chest level. - Patrons in deep water may be subject to a deep test. Lifeguards reserve the right to retest at any time. - No diving in the shallow water. - No spins, flips or backward entries into the water. - No running, horseplay, head or neck grabbing, pushing, throwing or sitting on shoulders. - No underwater distance swimming or prolonged breath holding. - Please refrain from talking to lifeguards while in the chair. Safety is our first priority. - When thunder and/or lightning is present, evacuate the pool and deck area immediately. No lifeguard on duty after specified hours. - Diving from the pool deck is prohibited. - Children under 8 years old must be accompanied by an adult 18 years of age or older who must be in the water within arms reach of the child at all times. If the child can pass a water competency test and the parent/guardian signs a waiver of liability, then the parent may watch the child from the deck (but must stay in the area). - No running at any time. - Horseplay (shoving, dunking, sitting on shoulders, etc.) is not permitted in pool or on deck. - Breath holding activities are not permitted. - Flotation devices must be Coast Guard approved. - Patrons who wear diapers must use swim diapers/plastic pants with elastic legs and waist in addition to wearing a swim suit. - Cellular phone, camera phone, camera and video camera use is strictly prohibited in all locker, shower and changing room areas. The Pool Manager must approve video recording and photography of any kind within the pool area. - Inappropriate language, verbal abuse and individuals under the influence of drugs or alcohol are prohibited from our pool. - Smoking, gum chewing, sunflower seeds and spitting are not permitted. - Persons with open sores, cuts or rashes are not permitted in pool complex; bandages are prohibited in pool. - Safety equipment is for pool staff use only. - Food and drinks in designated areas only. Alcohol and glass containers are not permitted. - Pool staff is required to close the pool in cases of inclement weather and/or after pool contamination incidents. - Please be advised that the pool staff may observe a 15 minute safety area during every 1.5 hours of operation in order to check equipment and account for all patrons present.
