IF CENTRIFUGE FAILS TO START • Check that power is turned on and the lights are on, on the key pad of the variable speed panel. • Check that shear pin is not broken and that Limit Switch is in down position. • Check RPM is not set at “0â€. Turn knob. • Check there is a RPM Speed and NOT a Fault Code displayed on the variable speed panel key pad. *If there is a Fault code displayed: (1) Shut off breaker in the variable speed panel. (2) Wait for the panel to power down. This will usually take 2 - 3 minutes and when it is done all lights on the keypad will be off. (3) Turn breaker back on and this should bring the panel back to operational mode displaying a RPM Speed. *IF FAULT CODE IS STILL DISPLAYED CALL FOR SERVICE. • Open Centrifuge lid and be sure bowl turns freely and there is not a large amount of solids inside case that the bowl is rubbing on. • Check that cords from Centrifuge to the Variable Speed panel are plugged in and tight. IF CENTRIFUGE HAS BEEN RUNNING AND SHUTS DOWN * Check Shear Pin. * Check Panel is getting power from Light Plant. * Check Variable Speed panel for default code. “If there is a fault code displayed that begins with OL it will be necessary to reduce the amount of fluid being fed to the Centrifuge or to reduce the RPM of the Centrifuge. • Shut breaker of the Variable Speed panel off and let power down turn back on to reset Computer in panel. IF ABOVE ITEMS HAVE BEEN CHECKED AND CENTRIFUGE STILL FAILS TO START PLEASE CALL FOR A SERVICE MAN.
