They also wonder what posters are needed, and how and when they should be updated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are answers to some frequently asked questions about labor law posters. And also resources from the United States Department of Labor (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dol.gov\/general\/topics\/posters\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">DOL.GOV<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-will-my-company-receive-a-fine-if-i-fail-to-post-a-labor-law-poster\">Will my company receive a fine if I fail to post a labor law poster?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Posting requirements vary by statute and all businesses are not covered by the information on labor law posters. It\u2019s best to verify what information needs to go on your poster with your state, federal or province agencies. For example, in the United States, failure to post <a href=\"https:\/\/www.compliancesigns.com\/pd\/federal-equal-employment-opportunity-the-law-poster-cs170521\">Job Safety and Health: It\u2019s the Law poster<\/a> (Occupational Safety and Health Act\/OSHA) will result in a citation and penalty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-which-posters-do-i-post-where-applicants-as-well-as-employees-can-see-them\">Which posters do I post where \u201capplicants\u201d, as well as employees, can see them?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Per the DOL, display federal workplace posters in conspicuous locations where they\u2019re visible to employees and others. The FMLA, EEO and EPPA posters are required to be placed where they can be seen by applicants for employment \u2013 in the US.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>The Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA).<\/strong> Post in a conspicuous place where employees and applicants for employment can see it. If an employer is covered by the FMLA, display a poster at all locations, even those where there are no FMLA eligible employees.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>The Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Poster<\/strong>.
