ComplianceSigns: INC 5000 Honoree

“Being recognized as one of the fastest growing companies in America is a great honor.

"It highlights the confidence our customers place in ComplianceSigns.com every time they order, and we thank them for that confidence.”

"To make the list two years in a row is a testament to the hard work of our employees, and the contribution of our partners in very challenging economic times."

-- Paul Sandefer, President

ComplianceSigns.com Named to Inc. 5000 List for 2nd Year

For the second year in a row, ComplianceSigns, Inc. is ranked in the top 5000 private growth companies in the United States. Our rank this year is 1,768 overall, and #49 in manufacturing. Ratings are calculated by dividing current year revenue by revenue from four years prior, comparing percentage growth in the four year window. Our 3-year growth was 150% for the period.

"It is a difficult task for manufacturers to make this list because revenue scaling is more difficult compared to other industries such as financial services and insurance," says company president Paul Sandefer. "It is even more difficult to repeat year to year - because as a company grows, high growth percentages are hard to maintain. To make the list two years in a row is a testament to the hard work of our employees, and the contribution of our partners in very challenging economic times."

We sincerely congratulate and thank the customers, employees, partners and friends of ComplianceSigns, Inc.

ComplianceSigns.com - Ranked #859 on the 2010 Inc. 5000 List of Fastest-growing Private Companies in the US.

With three-year sales growth of 350 percent, ComplianceSigns.com ranked number 12 among manufacturing companies and number 859 overall on the exclusive Inc. 5000 list, which ranks companies according to percentage revenue growth from 2006 through 2009. ComplianceSigns.com, founded in 2004, is a leading manufacturer of workplace safety and compliance signs and labels.

Inclusion on the Inc. 5000 list puts ComplianceSigns.com in good company. Previous lists have included Microsoft, Timberland, Under Armour and Zappos, to name but a few. Despite the fact that qualification for this year’s list took place during the latest recession, total revenue and employment numbers for listed firms increased from previous years.

“The leaders of the companies on this year’s Inc. 5000 have figured out how to grow their businesses during the longest recession since the Great Depression,” said Inc. president Bob LaPointe. “The 2010 Inc. 5000 showcases a particularly hardy group of entrepreneurs.”

Methodology

The 2010 Inc. 500|5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2006 to 2009. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by June 30, 2006. Additionally, they had to be based in the United States, privately held, for profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2009. (Since then, a number of companies on the list have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2006 is $80,000; the minimum for 2009 is $2 million. As always, Inc. reserves the right to decline applicants for subjective reasons. The top 10 percent of companies on the list constitute the Inc. 500, now in its 29th year.
